Can at PoW, Farnborough, 16/08/17. Light grapefruit aroma. An opaque amber. Very thin white head. Light bitter. Grapefruit. Caramel. Bitterness gradually gains strength. Light bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Short finish. Over chilled perhaps. But enjoyable and has some character.

Keg tap from Scottish Stores, Kings Cross. It’s reddish brown, slightly hazy with a slight white head and lots of lacing. Malt-led aroma with notes of red wine vinegar and raspberry. Refreshingly sweet taste, again surprisingly malty. Light bitterness in the finish. Brown sugar aftertaste with a sour note. Medium carbonation. Not great and not really a session IPA. Maybe I had a bad one.

Keg @ Red Lion, Westminster, London. Golden with a small head. It’s a bland session ale, crisp, with very mild tropical fruit notes.

Light body, texture bit thin but leaving an oily finish. Average carbonation. A decent brew, above average bitterness for a session IPA. Cool looking can!

Half-pint in the Crown & Anchor, Brixton on 22nd Jan 2017. Orange/amber pour, white topping. Hop centric with a tropical fruit aroma and fairly bitter taste, the finish being dry and citrusy.

Hazy dark gold, lively white head. Zesty orange smell. Flavour is bitter and orangey as well, with dry bitter hope and a light, airy aftertaste.Nothing especially complex happening but it’s a nice, crisp IPA with a nice, strong citrusy taste.
