Cask ale. half-pint at No Sign Bar. Clear golden body, filmy layer, fair lacing. Oily hops on the nose. Malt-fruity flavours of grain, biscuit, and oily hops. Discreet bitter endnotes. Satisfying. (Swansea 30.09.2018).

Hand-pulled cask pint in The Pump & Truncheon, Blackpool on 9th Sep 2016. Good lacing from the white head, golden, clear body. Mild fruity esters with a little garlic in the nose, the taste had a citrus finish with a bitter start and middle, dry aftertaste. Decent enough for a ’single hopped’ beer (which I think it is).

Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose is big on grass and small on biscuity pale malts and hay. Light sweet flavor with aggressive bitter grass, some earth, dry grains. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Further grassy bitterness to conclude, with some lemon rind and biscuits. Not bad overall but far too bitter.
