--Keg at Zum Alten Dessauer, Dessau. -- Clear golden, mid sized head. Grassy, spicy nose. Dryish with light to medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Salty grass and fruity bread. Resinous bitter finish.

1st Aug 2018, draft at the brewpub. White lasting head on a misty yellow/golden body. Bit of yeastiness in the floral hop aroma mixed in with some grainy esters. The taste malts first with a light hop butterness late on. Decent.

Mild herber Antrunk, spritzig, frisch. Dass Bier bleibt einfach, dafür süffig. Leicht herber, etwas wässriger Abgang. Trinkbar, unspektakulär. 10/9/9/8//8

On tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass modest turbid, nice head. Mild aroma. Starts mild, fine malty, some dry hoppy notes in the background. Finish a bit dusty, modest bitter. All in all quite mild. A bit boring.

Draught @ Brauhaus Zum Alten Dessauer (Alter Dessauer), Lange Gasse 16, Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany 06844.Unclear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, hay, straw, grainy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110707]
