The blend of pale, lager, crystal and cara malts give Goldeneye its full body and rich gold colour. The initial impression of moderate bitterness balances with a clean finish. Fruity citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine shine through with a touch of marmalade sweetness.

330ml bottle. Clear dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lasting, white head. Minimally piney hop aroma, a touch of wet hay. Taste is fruity hoppy, tangerine, a touch of peach, some grapefruit and citrus, minimally sweet pale and caramel malty basis; soft palate. Nice.

En väligt fin pale ale. Rund och god i smaken. Välbalanserad och med en fin beska.

Appearance: Amber color with a fine off white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Caramel malt, citric and light spicy.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malt, grassy, citric and moderate hoppy.
Overall impression: A bit to grassy for my likings. But maybe it was a bit to warm.
Personal stats: Bottle from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden.

Bottle from Asao. Nicely hoppy nose, citrus, some hay, a bit of spice, pepper, light to medium caramel malts. Amber-orange, quite clear, with a tall, fine head. Malty, bready flavor, some esters, grains, sweet orange, light grapefruit, nicely bitter finish. Somewhat metallic, and some grain harshness, but decent enough.

Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with peaches, malt and caramel. Sweet and fruity with a light bitterness. Easy to drink and quite nice. Finish is lightly bitter with a fairly short hoppy aftertaste. 33cl bottle (shared by Arve - Thanks!).

Bottled 330ml (BB 05/2013)
Clear deep copper color, good beige head. Aroma has some metal and nutty hoppyness. Light bodied, but good robust palate. Some caramel, nutty hoppyness, bready maltyness. Finish is quite short. Solid pale ale, nothing special but very well-brewed.

A orange beer with a medium, but quickly decreasing, white head. Aroma is surprise, tropical fruits, peaches, hint of papaiyas, some sweetness and some pine needles. Taste is fruitfull, peaches, biscuity maltas, unfortunately slightly musty aftertaste. A medium bodied, nicely to drink. Nice, tropical fruity aroma, some mistakes in the taste. Easy to enjoy, enough of aromatic nuancees.
