Very hazy golden and copper coloured body with a bright peach glow all with an ugly, soapy tan head that leaves a very ugly lace and starts very large at first to die down super quickly. Aroma of funky cardboardie malts, some yeast, bunches of bread and a nutty and almost earthy hop character with a little water around as well. Light-bodied; Strong nutty and earthy flavours at first with a bunch of bread, some odd funky notes with yeast and grain and ending with a touch of earthy hops and a little bitterness at the tail end. Aftertaste shows a decently balanced beer for the style with more of a funky yeast/bread characteristic rather than malt or hops, interestingly enough. Overall, a decent Light IPA with some earthier, maltier and grainier flavours throughout, although this does show a nice hop character, the earth and pungency dominates throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 31-May-2017 for US$0,79, a great deal for even this mediocre beer!

Draught at Vancouver Craft Beer Week 2015
Hazy golden color. The aroma is a bit resiny and herbaceous. Smooth, with quite food pale malt flavor, moderately sweet, and a bit of hop quality. Correct bitterness.
Balanced, nice.

12 oz. can dated /01/2015 every can has the month unreadable. Tulip glass A: Brownish orange pour with a finger of thick foam that lasts a good few minutes. Good clarity with just a slight haze. Very little visible carbonation but pretty nice lacing left. S: Very light scent of tangerine on the nose. Not much pine or malt detected. Extremely light nose overall. T: Much more bitter on the tongue with pine coming in strongly. Much less citrus but some pith from mid to end sip. M: Good stiffness on the otherwise light body. Good level of carbonation to clean up the finish which is well attenuated with next to no resin left on the mouth. O: Clean, crisp drinkable SIPA with a powerful if one dimensional hop flavor. This is not an exceptional beer but well worth a try if you’re burned out on citrus hops. Mostly pine here though I prefer the juicy ones. Not bad at all. Points taken for shitty job of date coding leaves an overall grade of just barely average.
