Draught at CBF Wien.
Brown-amber body, with a massive, dense, creamy, lacing, beige head.
Aroma of barrel, whiskey, nuts, cocoa, vanilla, dried fruits, some stone fruits.
Taste follows this, with some more marzipan.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes smooth, with barrel, some whiskey, moderate sweet, with cocoa, some vanilla, some fruits, some alcohol.
Very tasty. Really smooth for the strength, with lovely barrel notes and a great balance. Maybe my favourite beer by this brewery so far, this is really how a barrel aged beer should be, not too boozy, with the barrel notes very well integrated
