An ale steeped in history and class struggle, telling of profound old world dichotomies. Brewed with barley, wheat, oats and rye, the treasure of an impoverished farmhand served nervously to a stately aristocrat. Impressions of prized Chinese tea poured from porcelain atop a backbone of humble rusticity. Our view of wealth is strongly affixed to our experiences. Find beauty in that which is common. Notes of sweet cereal, exotic citrus peel, poppy seed muffins and vanilla bean pod.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2018) Pale yellow colour with lasting, white head. Fruity, floral nose with notes of white bread, hay, flowers and a touch of lavender. Fruity, spicy taste with white bread, grass, flowers, coriander, lemon peel and dough. Medium body, quite dry, with fairly low bitterness. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.
