A dark amber coloured beer with a deep red hue traditionally brewed using only the finest quality of Stonehenge Spring Water, barley, rye, crystal and wheat malts, whole hops and the brewery’s own top-fermenting yeast. The complex malt and fruit flavours develop into a very pleasingly fruity and bitter aftertaste which lingers on. This fine beer was first brewed to celebrate the approval in November 2003 for the reintroduction of the Great Bustard bird onto the Salisbury Plain.

Cask (White Hart, Overton) - Hazy amber in colour. Fruity and slightly tart aroma with raisins and toffee. Fruity and lightly hoppy taste with raisins and sultanas featuring. Not at its best. Will rate again in future.

bottle. Hazy amber colour with a red glow, large and creamy beige head. Fruity-malty nose. Incredibly full-bodied, full of flavour. Malty base with a fruity touch (peach, lime), very vey malty and very very hoppy at the same time. Dry and lingering aromatic hoppy finish. This one has everything I expect a good ale to have, it is just brilliant, exceptional, fantastic..... one of the best ales I’ve ever tasted.
