0.5 l can. Quickly disappearing beige head over the black liquid. Roasted malts and strong coffee hints in aroma and taste. As it gets warmer a strongish sweet/alcoholic scents appears, which is a bit unpleasant. Not bad for a commercial brew.

Black with a large foamy tan head that lingered. Lightly bitter with bread crust, toasty malt and a bit of wood. Medium finish and body.

Had at Snallygaster. Poured a dark cola color with a small, ecru head. Tastes like a traditional german schwarzbier, really pleasant light roast. Light chocolate malt. Bready notes. Nice grassy finish.

A clean, slightly creamy schwarz. Not super crisp, more of a light stout. Though it is clean and easily crushable. Simmel adventkalendar

29-01-20 // 500ml can from local Edeka. As Steininger Schwarzbier and with Frankenthaler Brauhaus as Inverkehrbringer. Clear brown. Not a schwarzbier. More of a Dunkel. Sweet malts. Malt beer/ malt extract like. 29-01-20 // 500ml can from local Edeka. AS BLREOR Schwarzbier. Interestingly It’s different Than the Steininger from the same producer. Clear darker brown. Less sweet malts. Still not a good beer so and wouldn’t classify as a Schwarzbier. Cheap plörriger aftertaste.
