15-05-20 // 330ml bottle from the brewery. Unfiltered golden with a white lacing. The Brett is strong in the nose. Wild bretty saison. A little grass along the cereal malty body. Great saison.

Bottle. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is funky barn, earthy, zezty, mineraly, very nice yeast character. Taste is apricots, quince, barn, mineraly, warming finish. Oily mouthfeel with high, but fine-bubbled carbonation. Good one!

Bottle. Cloudy amber with floaties suspended despite being upright in the fridge for weeks, low foam head. Fermented grapes, stonefruit, minerals, light metallic, a hint rubber which carries over to the palate. Somewhat strange yeast byproducts, fruity, tropical, citruspeel bitterness, but also industrial/silicone tubing, broad dry earthy, metallic finish. Very unusual, takes some time to get into.

0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, bottled in December 2019. Hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, quite funky, gently fruity and floral aroma of peach, barnyard, some hay and a touch of lemon peel. Gently sweet, malty, quite funky, gently fruity and floral taste of peach, barnyard, lemon peel, some gooseberry, light clove and a touch of banana, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather funky, gently dry finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. One of the best beers from Flügge in my opinion, the brett - unlike in some other beers from them - fits in really well and adds a lot of depth to it. Good!
