Windjammers were the kings of the sea in the 19th century. Built to carry cargo and travel long distances, this is a beer that embodies the same character. Packed full of Australian and American hops, added at various points in the journey to ensure a balanced and full flavoured ale. Windjammer will get your boat rockin’!

(Can) Pours cloudy amber with small white head. Pleasant aroma - pine and fruit. Medium body with excellent full carbonation. Great taste. There’s hops in front from start to finish. Whilst they dominate, they don’t overwhelm. There’s a good toffee malt from start to mid palate and some nice tangy fruit at the start. Plenty of hop bitterness in finish. Very good.

Pint on tap at Glasshouse Bar, Brisbane Airport. Hazy amber beer with a thin white head. Nose is dry fruit and hops. Good lacing. Quite sharp and bitter. Some malt background gives balance. Finish is lingering with lots of pepper and bitterness. Very nice, goes down easy.

From a 375ml can on 1/4/2018. Pours a cloudy golden with barely any head. The nose is very fruity, with lots of melon. Flavour wise, it's very fruit forward - citrus, stone and tropical all feature, but it's the hops that define it - very piney, spicy and lingering. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. A really well balanced and flavoursome IPA. Terrific.

Aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, marshmallow and honey lead into a nicely hopped, bitter taste with a bit of guava there as well. It's got a solid malt backbone underpinning it, and perhaps a slight shortness is the only criticism.

Can at Beermash, Melbourne. Poured a frothy white head with some broken lace. The aroma is grainy malt, earthy mineral, light fruit, dry pepper spice hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a dry malt fruity dry spice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On keg at Beer Deluxe, Melbourne. Pours clear amber golden with a white head with lacing. Aroma is moderate malty, candy & pine needles. Taste is malty, fruity, herbal light spice, pine resin. Light to medium body, soft carb. Hoppy bitter finish. Quite west coast in style, it’s not bad at all

On tap at Green Beacon, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is fresh, with lots of piney hops and just enough biscuity malt to back. Robust and piney. Refreshingly vibrant for an Aussie IPA. Really nice.
