Crisp amber coloured body with a perfect copper glow and a one centimetre tall off-white/tan head. Aroma of bright grapefruity and piney hops, some herbal and resin notes and a good dose of malt, all with a touch of candy sweetness in the nose. Medium-bodied; Assertive bitterness of resin and pine with a hint of toffee and caramel and a little sweetness, before the hop bitterness kicks in. Overall, a well-balanced and nice East Coast IPA with a more balanced flavour and some other nuances aside from the hops, this time being caramel, citrus and some floral aspects. Definitely nice to try and worth picking up if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Tampa, Florida on 03-January-2014 for US$2.29 sampled at home in Washington on 28-January-2014.

Hazy orange body under a tall chunky off-white head. Juicy malts, pine resin, and citrus blend well in the aroma. The flavor is not too sweet, not too bitter with plenty of hop flavor delivered on a somewhat light palate.

Bomber. An Alabama beer, finally. Copper body with a decent, but ephemeral head. Aromas are caramel and grapefruit with resin. Flavor is very nice. It’s a little more caramel-heavy than I would like in a perfect IPA, but the hops presence is very nicely balance with a nice hops punch.

Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a crystal clear gold body supporting an off white head. The aroma has some resiny pine, some citrus and some spicy hoppiness. The taste is nice and rich and bold. I get a pleasing blend of resiny pine hops and grapefruit citrus hops followed by spiciness and just a touch of dank earthiness all heading into the finish. Wow this is a really well rounded and great tasting IPA. It is a little timid in the aroma but the flavor more than makes up for it.
