Speziata, dall’amaro bilanciato, è ornata da un denso cappello di schiuma. Dissetante e fruttata, ha una intensa carbonazione. Ottima sia a tavola sia nella meditazione.
Abbinamenti: ingentilisce la popolare trippa, esalta il maiale arrosto, il formaggio d’alpeggio stagionato, e sorprende tenendo il passo di un riso basmati con pollo al curry.

Old rating from 2016 - 330ml bottle brought back from Italy. Pours hazy caramel with a white head. Aromas & tastes of ripe melon, clove, banana, coriander, pepper, flora & malt. Medium body. Slightly sour finish

Bottiglia con tappo di sughero. All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sour. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma è inesistente. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente rossiccio. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è medio e c'è anche una componente moderatamente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si percepiscono indizi di miele, frutta secca, agrumi, spezie, pompelmo rosa, arancia rossa, frutta passita, lampone, vino rosso, acetico, tosse caduta e uva passa.

Bottle from Antarabangsa, Penang. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light citrus fruits, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a toffee, juicy citrus, light acidic, light yeasty palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

33cl bottle from Antarabangsa, Penang. very thin white head. Very hazy golden pour. Apricots in the aftertaste. Not bad.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, colore oro carico limpido, al naso malto miele zucchero di canna e note floreali, in bocca malto è fruttata e speziata, carbonatazione moderata, corpo medio, attacco dolce per poi andare sull'acidulo, amaro accentuato molto lungo nel finale. Particolare. Buona 16.12.17

Flesje meegenomen van vakantie in Italië en gedeeld met Benzai op 6-12-15. Koperkleurig, troebel bier met matig schuim. Kruidig aroma. Smaak is hoppig en kruidig. Prikkelend in de mond. Bittere en kruidige nasmaak.

0.33l bottle from carrefour express in milano. pours a cloudy orange with a big frothy but quickly disappearing white head and little lacing. sour aroma of brett, yeast, ammonia, a hint of cinnamon and orange. flavour of yeast, orange zest, a kind of sour ale, but more bitter than sour.

Bottle shared by Inoven. Hazy orange color with small particles of yeast residu floating in it, huge fizzy off-white head that diminishes quite quickly. Aroma reminds me of Orval, typical brett aroma. Taste lightly malts, again brett, soft mouthfeel, soft bitterness. Unexpected Orval clone. Not bad, but not a saison at all.
