Overworks cosmic crush range are 100% mixed culture Scottish sour ales. Aged in foaders and fermented on whole fruit. Available on planet Earth. They offer a cosmos of juicy funky discovery and a wormhole to the world of sour beer.

A shimmering golden orb. Juicy freshly cut peaches on the nose. Succulent peach stands tall and ignites the palette. Dry as space dust, the tart body is deftly balanced with mouthwatering juiciness. All resting on a brett funk baseline. Lingering fruit to finish.

Hapu, virsik, natuke hapet ka, higi. Lõpp on võrdlemisi vesine. Lihtne, aga halb ei ole.

On tap at Brewdog Malm, pours an opaque, cloudy peachy yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma is loaded with intense juicy peaches upfront, with restrained wild yeast. Flavour is tart and peachy, with very prominent tart, juicy peaches dominating. Sort of a wild yeast flavourful underneath, with a little oak. Not all that complex, but the peaches are nicely expressed.

Shared at Brewdog/Overworks tasting, Zil Verne. Yellow orange color with medium white head. Acetic aroma with peaches. Strong peach in taste with lightning stones, bit acetic sourness in finish.

Bottle at a tasting. Assertively acetic both in aroma and flavour. Also earthy, grassy. Only subtle fruitiness and i could never distinguish the peach. Lots of sourness. Feels a bit off balance. Otherwise okay, but not great.

(Keg at BrewDog Soho, 20191016) The beer poured yellow and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had tartness and peach. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were tartness, fruitiness, peach and bitterness. Aftertaste was tart and bitter. A decent tart brew. Bit simple.
