Bottle from Biermarket. Aroma is grainy malt with straw, bittering noble hops with some grassy notes. Touch of hay. Flavour is moderate bitter, low on sweetness. Medium body. Allround good Pils.

330 ml bottle. Clear dark golden. Big fluffy head. Grainy, floral, zesty citrusy, metallic, stone fruit. Dry hoppy metallic bitterness, grainy fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry metallic grainy bittersweet finish. Alright Pilsner, nothing special considering this is a craft beer.

Clear and golden with a frothy white head and a fresh, grassy aroma, maybe a hint of lemon? Soft and rounded, clean but not massively crisp, semi-sweet with grassy bitterness coming through

Gold with a creamy, white head that lingers. Grassy, herbal aroma that’s traditional for the style. Taste is crisply bitter the whole way through. Body to the light side of medium, moderate to mild carbonation. Clean. Better than average for the style.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, malty aroma, a touch of husk and white bread crust, weak hoppy overtones with a fruity touch of apricot. Taste is husky, grainy malty, rather plain bitter hoppy, a very cautious fruity touch of apple, some protein. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Quite expressionless, boring - meh.

01-02-18 // on tap at Klingelbeutel, Mainz. Day number one of a new era at Klingelbeutel in Mainz. This place will soon turn into a spot for curious beer drinkers. Great beers to be expected on tap. This Pilsener is brewed especially for the pub. It pours clear golden with a solid white head. Mild herbal, grassy hop nose. Light bodied, mild grainy pilsener with a grassy, bitter hop aroma. Smooth drinking. Great!

Sampled @ Craftbier Messe Mainz 2018. A clear pale yellow golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of grassy and dry floral hops, hay. Taste of dry grassy bitter hops, hay, hints of citrus. Mild bitterness. Okay.

As “Eulchen Pils” @ CBM Mainz 2018. Grainy floral beginning. Smooth and mild, fruity hints with a grainy butround body. Nice.
