This Russian Imperial Stout is a tribute to one of the most fantastic Swedish traditions - Fika. Fika is a social phenomenon that has a fantastic history of bringing people together and is a crucial activity in Swedish social life. To fika means that you have a cup of coffee with a biscuit, a cinnamon bun, a piece of cake or any other pastry. While having this, you talk and laugh with friends, family, colleagues, a date or someone that you are trying to get to know. It is not just a cup of coffee - it is a fika.

(Bottle) Dark brown colour, almost black, with no head. Malty, roasty nose with dark chocolate, coffee, coconut, vanilla and dark bread. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with notes of dark chocolate, strong black coffee, coconut, vanilla, caramel, treacle, dark bread and a mild cacao bitterness in a sweet and warming finish. Full body, sweet. Rich, sweet and warming. Fika in a beer. Very nice.

Flaska från SB. Svart med liten nätt brun krona. Kexig med toner av melass, mandel, vaniljsötma och rostade kokosflingor. Chokladig bas med söta kaffetoner. Kokos framträder något mer när temperaturen kommer upp. Lite utav gröna äppel-toner som återkommer i Biscotti-varianterna. Kroppen är tjock och något större. Mycket restsötma kvar. Finns något lite skarp som jag har svårt för i de här varianterna som jag kopplar till de något grönare tonerna. Inte helt min kopp te.
