Bottle from the Architect, Cambridge. Light yellow, fairly fizzy with very little head. Malty/yeasty aroma with some hay. Taste has that wet cereal and gluey note to it which tsstes a bit better than it sounds. Doughy bittersweet finish with dried grass and some citrus in the aftertaste. No sock knocking off going on here but it’s a decent standard lager. Suitable for when you want something refreshing and different and don’t mind paying a bit more...

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Original, Irish Craft Beer #1, shared with 77ships. Orange, col blanc.

Draft glass shared with Sebletitje @ Moeder Lambiek Original. Clear golden, creamy white head.nose is dull grain, lightly watery, low cabbage. Taste is sweet grain, sweet corn, bland sugary vegetable, light cooked cabbage, too much sweetness. Body is grainy, faint butter almost. Not the worst but too close to an industrial lager for me.

Bottle at Canalhouse in Nottingham courtesy of fonedan, thanks! Crystal clear bright yellow color, fluffy white head with solid lacing. Aroma of black and white pepper and freshly cut hay. Taste is peppery straw. A proper lager.

Bottle @ EBBD14 Dublin [270614]
Golden, clear, frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of soft sweet light pale malts, not much else
Taste of pale malts, light cereal, soft bitter lager hops, clean but a dull flavour
Palate - soft carb, light body. Finish as main flavour, clean finish.
Overall - Better than the industrial macros but a forgettable craft lager
