The nice part about the Luchador wardrobe is the versatility. Comfortable, breathable, devastating in the ring, and ruthlessly efficient when the occasion calls for beach volleyball. This variation of our Mexican-Style Chocolate Stout adds Coconut into the mix for a smooth and sweet seasonal twist alongside the classic roasted malt and chocolate flavors that define our Sombrero series.

Jet black brown with a rich light brown head. Nice chocolate and toasted coconut. Sweet chocolate and toasted coconut. The sweet chocolate takes away from could be a great beer. A bit thin.

From a 473ml can on 5/9/2020 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a deep brown with small to medium head. Has quite a strong and pleasant chocolate and coconut nose. Tastes of milk and dark chocolate with a good dash of coconut, followed by a sharpish, slightly toasty bitterness with a very light chili. Pretty tasty.

Can. A- Roasty, chocolate, toasty. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Chocolate, mild coconut, mild vanilla, mild bitterness, roasty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- All these Sombrero stouts are good but I don't think they get the full Mexican aspect going. This could have used more coconut but otherwise wasn't bad. No spice or chilies detectable. Better as it warms.

Does Clown Shoes get extra consideration for: a. Name, b. Beer names, c. Artwork? Maybe. I got a four pack of Coconut Sombrero last week at the nearest, best beer shop. Popping the tab on the first tallboy, New Belgium snifter the recipient. A gorgeous brown-black liquid and a decent light tan head that promptly vamooses. A sniff, I think of the Mounds candy bar from years ago. A good pull on the glass, the as-advertised coconut and chocolate, bread and a hint of of toffee. A little thin perhaps. Only could be better if it was an imperial stout.
