At a tasting, thanks kerenmk, clear light gold colour, aroma of cardboard and honey, flavour of wet wool with some fruitiness, light bitterness. Not offensive but pretty mediocre.

Can sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks kerenmk. As "Max". Clear golden. Grainy aroma, slightly corny. Sweetish and grainy flavor with corny notes and a finish with faint bitter notes. Light-bodied. Pretty non-offensive.

Can. Pale orange with a loose white head that doesn’t hang around. Odd aroma of lemon, apple, bread, cooked corn, glue. Sweet and grainy with apples, some metal, lemony cleaner. Dryish, slightly astringent finish with very little bitterness. Well into unpleasant territory.

Pale golden coloured body with a hint of a white head. Aroma of rice, corn, pale malt and a big metallic note. Light-bodied; Sharp rice and light malt flavour with a lot of metal, earth and cereal flavours and nothing too pleasing. Aftertaste has a little alcohol, the slightest hint of citrus and more of the funky malt. Overall, a pretty bad offering, but pairs well with spicy food here - however, just drink the soju and pass this one up! I sampled this 33 cL can purchased at GS25 in Myeongdong, Seoul, Korea on 06-April-2012 for 1,200Won.

(can) Clear rather bright yellowy pale gold with reasonable, but short-lived head. Pleasant aroma: lightly malty, with hints of lemon and grassy hops. Light body, a little watery, with pleasant carbonation. Reasonable malty foretaste then develops some citrus notes and then falls a bit flat with a finish which has notes of bread and a faint metallic tang. Overall, other than the finish, it’s quite acceptable, and a little ahead of most of the other beers on the corner store shelf.

It is a bright sunny Sunday afternoon and I’ve picked up the dog crap and leaves, mown the lawns for the first time this year, I am now sitting in the sun. My wife has even showered the dog in the garden, so summer is almost upon us (it’s 15th March 2009 in Shropshire, England). In my quest to drink around the world I ordered this beer along with a few others over the interenet from ’Beers of Europe’, didn’t know Korea was in Europe, but hey, they sent the beer. Brown 330ml twist-top bottle, best before 24th Mar 09, drank 10 days before that date. Poured into a Hoegaarden Grand Cru tulip shaped glass. Clear golden body, typical lager look, the large bubbles in the head didn’t hang around and soon the white head was a weak collar and a pathetic wisp, these in turn also disappeared before my second gulp. Sweet lemon grass was the smell I though I detected as I sniffed the bottle before pouring the beer. That aroms faded swifter than the head, so my normal lager/pilsner 3 for smell. Not unpleasant, but nothing to mark it above anyother lager import around. Starts off sweet in the mouth then turns dry towards the end. I could imagine drinking this at a hot and sweaty South East Asian beachbar but it isn’t a UK summers drink. Not enough body or seoul (see what I did there? Seoul/Korea) to make it a truely memorable experience. I am sure some wag has already suggested the brewery adds an ’S’ to its name, it could then be called the ’Shite Brewery’. This however would be unfair in my opinion, nothing wrong with this lager, however it is just below par and the head loss didn’t help its cause.

Golden clear. Doesnt hold a white head. Bland, chemically laden aroma. Harsh mouthfeel and bite that lasts well after the finish. Heavy malt taste.

35,5 cl can, BBE 10.06.2011
Very quickly disappearing head. Rather light, somewhat stale and sweet aroma with corn and cardboard. Flavour has corn, sweetish malt, some hops and hints of butter. Typical and harmless pale lager.
