Our most popular Double IPA is a hop head’s dream come true. Utilizing a bit of caramel and honey malt to create a delicate and very subtle sweetness, this is an amazingly balanced beer considering its hop-forward nature. We selected a neutral yeast strain to ensure nothing interferes with the intense tropical juiciness of this choice mix of citrus hops. Dry, drinkable, and dangerous.

Can 355ml (BGonzo, Genesis date 11/14/2016)
Orange colour, small white head. Flowery, resiny aroma, a bit bready. Medium-bodied. Citrus, resin and some breadyness in the flavour. Not in the best shape but still drinkable classic West Coast IPA.

355ml can. Clear orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma: tropical and citrus fruits, grapefruit, resin, malt. Taste: hoppy, citrus, tropical, grapefruit, resin, light sweet caramel, malt, bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation, a bit sticky. Pretty good for an 8 month old can, thought hops might have faded but nope.

On tap at Mother Earth, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out ample piney hops upfront, some hop resins, and light caramel bready malt. Flavour is bold, with lots of resinous hops, some pine and sticky caramel malt. The balance is a bit rough, with the malt and hops not perfectly melding. But it works well enough. Good.
