Bottle at home in Northern Ireland. Picked up from Crumlin Tesco. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is tangy wheat grains, rustic straw, damp hay, banana phenols. Flavour is composed of tangy green apples, wheat and a hint of sour, banana phenol. Palate is semi tangy sour apple, highish carbonation. Meh.

Bottle from Tesco, Enniskillen [150116]
Yelllow orange, hazy, large white head
Aroma of pale fruits, hint of apricot, light sour fruits
Taste of yeast esters, sweet pale fruits, soft toast fruits, peppery, farmyard ale, yeasty, little unusual
Palate - Medium carb and body, quite fizzy though, soft spicy. Finish of soft tart fruits, peppery linger
Overall - Interesting, one of the better beers from Hilden, but I found one bottle to be enough

Bottle at The Garrick, pours a hazy golden yellow with a humongous white head. Nose brings out floral hops, yeast and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite yeasty and floral, bringing out Belgian yeast, floral notes and biscuity malt. Pleasant and smooth enough. Solid stuff.

500 ml bottle. The beer starts fruity and wheat-typical. Hints of sourness with a light floral taste. The mainpart is a bit bready, floral-smooth, a bit too sweet for a wheat-ale probably. The aftertaste has sourish hints, smooth sweetish wheat-taste, hints of grain and a slightly bitter dryness.
Interesting, but for me a bit too sweet. --> 10/12/11/10 --- Beer merged from original tick of Fulcrum on 27 Apr 2014 at 10:43 - Score: 6. 500mL bottle from Dark Horse Offie. Pours an unfiltered orange juice, dull orangey yellow into the pint glass. Medium white head, dissipates quickly, some lacing on the glass. Lovely banana, clove, orange zest aroma, taste is similar, almost Belgian white-esque, flavor is very reminiscent of Schneider Weiss. Finish is soft and tangy, absolutely perfect after a long walk into and out of the city with the kids.
