Pours a chestnut brown colour with a small frothy beige head that settled. The aroma is sweet malts, toffee and ripe berries. A moderately sweet taste, toffee, sweet malts, ripe dark and berry fruits with a hint of chocolate and a lingering mild bitter finish.

Bottle from Growlers and Cans, Guildford. Sour fruit and malt aroma. Dark opaque cola brown. Creamy light beige head. Immediate sweet edged light sour hit, followed by a bitter streak. Advertised as chocolate and malt but for me it's sour berries that are most prominent. Chocolate only comes through in the finish. Light-medium bodied. Thin but slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. It's fine I guess. Keeps thing interesting but edging towards sickly.

Bottle shared with AshtonMcCobb. I’m too Sussexy for this Tasting. Pours dark brown with a massive off-white head. Aromas of biscuit, toffee. Taste is dark chocolate, into instant coffee. Medium body, lingering sweet coffee finish. For the strength, there’s a lot going on.
