(Bottle) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of oak wood, caramel, red fruit, black-currant, vinegar, chocolate, vanilla and bourbon. Malty, fruity, tart taste with oak wood, balsamic vinegar, black coffee, chocolate, black-currant, vanilla, bourbon and a tart and vinous finish with low bitterness. Almost full body, with a slight sweetness. The woody acidity tends to overshadow the pastry stout part, but it's really rich and tasty. Very nice.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherd's Bush, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Tart chocolate, caramel, marshmallow aroma and taste. Interesting and surprisingly moreish sour stout from Brewdog.

10/13/12/14/8/13

200ml draught at BrewDog BD57 Grünerløkka. Pitch black body, scattered lacing, a ring to the rim of the surface. Appealing aromas of cocoa chocolate, oak, and biscuit. The taste profile is something completely different compared with the aromas. Jam-like tartness added by spices. Dry and tart ending, lingering. Slow sipper. Likable aroma, so and so to my taste buds. (Oslo 30.08.2020).

500ml bottle from the brewery. Black with no head. Marshmallow and chocolate aroma, flavour is more of that marshmallow with red wine fruitiness and sharpness. I feel like this combo shouldn't work, but it does

Keg pour at Brewdog, Bristol Feb 2020. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma: sour, chocolate, berries, cherry, wood. Taste: moderate to heavy sour, acidic, dark choc, red wine barrel, grape, light funk, alcohol. LIght to medium body, light carb, semi dry acidic finish. Another OW beer released too early, more acidic nonsense. Bored of it now
