Pulling together the best of the barrels, OverWorks have created a blend of 'lost toys' - elegant, rugged and wild beers from various batches. The vinous, tannic and complex result is full of depth and subtlety. Refermentation with white gooseberries balances the oaky wood character imparted by barrel-ageing.

500ml bottle from Brewdog. Golden colour, white foam head and aroma of citric rind, gooseberry, wood barrel, funk. Taste is tart, sour fruity, gooseberry, lemon rind, with some woody funk, red wine barrel, lactic notes and acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry sour finish. Nicely drinkable.

Wässriger, holzig-säuerlicher Beginn. Birnen, leicht nach Kirschen, trockener Hintergrund. Spritzig, Noten von Zitrus, der wässrige Hintergrund stört. Mittellanger Abgang, monoton. 7/9/11/8/11/8

Smooth mild sourness. Woody parts with hints of wine. Funk and woody barrels. A bit rough in the back, fruity with a dense sour finish. Nice.
