17/7/2021. Bottle bought at the brewery. Pours clear deep chestnut brown with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, nutty, caramel, dried fruits, berries, earthy biscuit notes. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Fruity finish. Quite a tasty drop, maybe more to my English palate than those Danish boys I sent a bottle to.

Bottle - many thanks to BeardedAvenger! Great smooth malty beginning. Hints of caramel and nuts. Very dry and still rich, moderate bitter with a nice Ale-dry bitterness in the aftertaste. Bitter, malty dry. Very nice.

Cask at Duke of Cambridge, Tilford. Vargue berry aroma. A ruby chestnut. Creamy off-white head. Sweet and sour into a malty finish. Berries. Sugar. Seemingly medium bodied but watery. Soft carbonation. Muted finish. Pleasant but that’s it. Read some stuff about this new brewery referencing the likes of Siren and Wild Beer as influences and stuff about experimenting with styles. However this first beer is just an old-school boring bitter.
