We love sipping on super dry, effervescent champagnes as the weather warms - so we made an IPA that re-creates that experience. Sparkle uses a wicked light grain bill and a special yeast strain to get in a crisp, bone-dry body. We absolutely LOAD this beer up with organic Calypso, Azacca, Idaho 7 and Citra hops, to give a huge burst of fruit and pine aromas. A healthy dose of bubbles rounds out this drinking experience, and creates a very unique concoction.

Fairly hazy golden glowing body with a straw-like glow, but a massive six to seven centimetre tall soapy tan head. Aroma of grass, flowers, white grapes, lemons, grapefruit and a dash of pepper - quite strong throughout. Medium-bodied; Odd candy-like sweetness at first with a hint of citric acid, a ton of floral and grassy hop flavours with a deep malt backbone, some soapy notes, a hint of perfume and quite a deep and bitter bite at the end from all the hops, with an astringent and powerful finish. Aftertaste is relatively clean, with some cleanser, grapefruit, lemon and floral notes, with a lot of outstanding hoppiness and some dry hay and malt at the tail end. Overall, a very interesting, brut IPA with a look of a New England IPA, but the profile and bitterness of a super dry brut champagne, and the complexity of an Imperial IPA with all the astringent, pungent and alcohol flavours. Good to try, especially fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 28-April-2020 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-May-2020.

16 oz. draft at The Farm, Dover. Flavor shows light peach, citrus, and pineapple. Mouth feel is slightly effervescent and shows some light juicy character. Very low bitterness. Respectable. I finished my pint easily.
