Brewed with a high wheat content, the character of this golden ale is light and crisp. The hops used were discovered on a farm in Sussex and are thought to be a daughter of Boadicea. The result is floral and spicy.

2L pet bottle filled at the brewery shared on the train from Hereford to Inverness, 18/10/13. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering that clears to a swirl and edgeing. Nose is toasted malt, candied sugars, orange, summer fruits. Taste comprises caramel, fruity notes, chalky mineral notes, grass, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with subtle grassy bitterness. Decent GB.

On the 3rd Oct 2013 my wife and I had 22 half-pints between us at the 35th Telford Beer Festival: this was one of those 22. Hand-pulled, this beer was a true golden colour with a thin white head that produced no lacing at all. The nose and taste were floral, fruity hop led with not much bitterness: pretty bland to be honest and we struggled to finish it.
