8/3/2019. Bottle from Home Bargains, Skegness. Pours mid to dark brown with a short lasting off-white head. Aroma of stem ginger, chocolate and malt. Peculiar tasting, artificial sweetness, moderate and slightly unpleasant bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Sweet, ginger biscuit finish. Aroma is quite nice, but not great overall.

Bottle from Tesco, Borehamwood. Black with next to no head. There's some stout character available including an excellent smoothness to the brew, but it is its ginger that dominates taste and provides a spiciness that lingers.

Bottle thanks to Richard. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Slightly off white head. Nose - toffee, chocolate, instant coffee and ginger of course. Taste - more ginger and instant coffee. Light chocolate and caramel. Palate - light to medium bodied and creamy. Tangy finish. Overall - not too bad.

50cl bottle from Home Bargains. Thin beige head. Clear deep burgundy pour. A bit too much ginger for me. Ok but I won't buy it again

500ml bottle. Pours cola brown with a thin head. Aroma is light ginger, watery roast and cocoa. Taste is mostly light ginger, roast on the finish and cocoa on the aftertaste.
