X marks the spot for the gem of the Lake District. A classic English style bitter with distinctive red and amber hues. Hoppy aroma and background notes of toffee give a balanced full bodied flavour - you wouldn’t expect anything less from this GEM of a brewery

Dark amber with a small reddish glow and a small bubbly head. Mainly a bitter with some sweetness and a less than pleasant wild bushy nose.

Mid brown colour. It’s malty and quite woody making it quite dry on the palate. Texture is a bit on the thin side.
