Had these in my pre-ratebeer days, and had forgotten all about them until I read an article on the zythophile blog today about marketing beer to women. I didn’t even know that was the point of these beers. They were all sweet, and the clear one was the best of a pretty poor bunch.

Practically no aroma and crystal clear which makes it look unusual for a lager. It has a slightly sweet taste to it but that’s about it.

Looks like 7-Up. Citric, sweet aroma reminds me a bit of Diamond White cider. Flavour is very sweet (artificial sweetener) and also too acidic.

275ml bottle from Morrisons. Well I’m clearly not the traget demographic for this - I like my beers to taste of beer! It’s almost colourless with a white head - looking much like Cream Soda; there’s a whiff of citrusy hops; and a watery, sweet citrus flavour; with some cardboard to finish. Best avoided.
