The Royal Hop Pole - Spoons, Teweksbury. Can. Clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, pretty modest sweetness. Mildly bitter orange peel. Smooth and slightly candyish mango stands in contrast. Smooth and semi dry finish leaves a bitterish linger. Not bad.

Can, gift from Mum. Clear copper body with a thin off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of wine gums and caramel. Flavour of mango purée and crystallised orange. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Decent.

Can. Lidl. Clear copper colour. Film and ring of white. Nose has tinned fruit salad. Mango. Caramel. Taste has that jarring bittersweet thing that some fruited IPAs have. Medium body. Oily and sickly. Low carbonation. Jarring bittersweet finish.
