A new beer but with a resurrected name, this beer is brewed with English and American hop varieties. It’s coppery in colour, fairly malty with lovely stone fruit flavours and a slight herbal character. Fruity for an English hopped beer but more subtle than what you’d expect from American style beers.

The name is as you'd expect, quite tongue in cheek; it's a very light ABV beer but gives more flavour than you might expect from it's strength.

Cask @ The Magnet, Stockport [040417]
Dark amber to copper, light haze, dense white head
Aroma of light vague cereal, soft fruits, light nose
Taste of soft very light caramel, slight mineral note I’m not keen on, vague zest, just ok
Palate - Good texture for abv, soft sweet, slight bitterness. Finish of light bitter cereal, odd linger...not sure what it is
Overall - Not my kind of beer

Cask at the Magpie and Crown, Brentford on 12th February 2016. Amber with thin off white ring-and-film giving scant lacing. Sweet caramel malt and remote grass in aroma. Sweet fruitiness in-mouth with herbiness - bay leaf. A bitter finish. Light mouthfeel and body. Improves down the glass.

Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2016. Golden coloured ale. You expect more from the name, however it’s just a standard bitter with a low to medium bitterness. Malty in its nose.

Golden colour. Aroma has some farmyardesque manure notes amongst the malts. Taste is similar. Strange.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/1/2012. Clear amber in colour with a decent white head. Aroma of nutty malts, hedgerow fruit and a touch of leafy hop. Flavour of cereal malts and berry fruits, with a hint of citrus and good, bitter finish. Enjoyable.
