Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Two entries on RB for this. This clearly states brewed at Five Towns, however. Medium gold. Moderate haze. Blotchy, messy, sticky, bright white head. Nose has stewed citrus. Pine scented cleaner. Ripe, sugared grapefruit. Floral herb. Creamy malt backdrop. Taste sets off sweet and a little jammy, turning sticky and slightly resinous bitter. Medium body. Fine carbonation. Bitterness rises toward the end. Old school, tasty and bitter.

Clear golden appearance. Aroma is ok with some floral notes at first. Then some harsh apple pip bitterness. Flavour has an astringent edge to it which does not help. Overly bitter aftertaste.
