33 cl bottle served in a La Trappe chalice. A mahogany pour with virtually no head. Aroma is hazelnut, ash, red berries, corn syrup. Sweet and sour onset, thin sip. Cloying finish with hints of kitchen towel. Bad.

Brun klar farge med lyst beige skum karamell og belgisk gjær i lukt. Noe av det samme i smak. Forholdsvis mild I munnfølelse.

33cl bottle from Mercadona. Pours clear brown with a small, tanned head. Mild malty aroma with dried dark fruits and hints of Belgian yeast. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a light.

Ámbar muy oscura casi turbia, de muy abundante espuma De tono amarillento. Aroma no muy marcado acaramelado y de notas tostadas. En boca es escasa de cuerpo y punzante de gas, con sabor acaramelado, malteado y con notas de cacao. Pasable y discreta.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 18GS 11:51 (BBF 18/07/20201). AROMA: medium malt aroma with oxidation notes (stale, cellary/musty). low background notes of dried fruits (dried grapes), slight clove. APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium beige head, creamy, with average retention. slight lace formation. TASTE: medium-low malt flavor with predominant Maillard-like notes (roasted bread crust) starting to show oxidation. low clove and slight toffee. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: an underwhelming brune Belgian beer that seems to be showing oxidation problems.

Dark brown with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have some brown sugar and caramel malts. Elements of bread and cake too.

Color marronáceo con espuma blanquecina con buena duración. Aroma con leves notas tostadas. Sabor ligeramente dulce y tostado. Final ligero, tostado. Cerveza muy palana muy lejos de cualquier cerveza belga del mismo estilo.
