[50cl swing-neck bottle from Mleczko, Reading.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a tight white head; honey aroma; full in the mouth with honey, toast and caramel, followed by apples and pears; then a gentle bitterness and some toffee apples to finish. Unusual and tasty.

Pours light amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of toasted grain. Taste has bready notes, some yeast, more toasted grain. Palate has limited honey elements, some mild hops, dominant malt notes conveying some light smoked elements. Thanks Zuza!

Bottle from local Polish shop – drank at home. Pours a clear golden amber with a fair sized frothy white head. Aroma is sweet with honey and malts. Honey again to the fore in the mouth, along with grains, lemongrass and malts. Some brediness lurking underneath too, and some fruits (apples and oranges) come through later. Finish is fairly sweet. Much nicer than I expected.

Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Orange-amber with a very thin bubbly head. Its graininess coupled with its full-body gives the beer a forthright taste, nothing spectacular, nothing bad, but is a little too strong to be a session brew. Some yeast in its aftertaste.

Flip-top 500ml bottle from a local Polish store: BB16th Mar 2021. Drank at home on 21st May 2020, during the virus Lock In. Clean old gold body, short lived white head. Malty front to the nose and taste, not much else going on really, didn't take to this at all. Scored kindly!
