Inspired by the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, where Hop Stuff was born.
This is the historic site where ammunition and artillery were made for WWI and II. It was a bleak time, so workers were permitted ‘four hour sessions’ of beer to boost morale – without getting steamed.
As such, this is a genuine IPA with a sessionable ABV and bitterness. It keeps its hoppy aromas and oaty body without knocking you off your chair. A juicy, fruity brew built for anyone.

Can from CBB in Osaka. This may be an alternate for their regular Session IPA I guess. Made with Rakau, Mosaic and Columbus hops. A clear copper color with a dense soapy head of foam. It has a nice aromatic fruity hop bouquet. The taste is more bitter than expected, the hops may also have over layed some butterscotch diacetyl. Quite disappointing, especially other the 600¥ or so price. As this warmed up the rating went in the crapper as this became a diacetyl mess of butterscotch sweetness verging on undrinkable.

Hazy golden color with a fine white top. Ok lacing. Nice hoppy intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Easy to drink. Ok bitterness versus sweetness. Grapefruit hoppy, fruity and pine in the flavor. Nice tasty and session able beer. Lasting tail.

Can at home, 10/06/17. Lightly hazed golden orange with a well appointed off white head of bubbledom. Nose is juicy citric peel, straw, light mango, orange pith, hop tickle. Taste comprises orange pith, chalky mineral bite, citric tinged straw, light bread dough, tangerine, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with hop bitterness. Ok session gear.

33cl can from Beer52.com. A light amber pour with a loose white head; dusty citrusy aroma; dry body with an assertive woody bitterness; and a long dry, slightly rasping finish. A very drinkable session IPA.
