Alice is a foeder fermented, wine barrel aged Golden Sour fermented with a house mixed culture of yeast and bacteria. The result is a dry golden ale, with an intense natural stone fruit aroma and flavor that is enhanced by a medium tart sourness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours gold. Floral, acidic, white wine vinegar, passionfruit, buttery, herbal, lemon zest. Medium body. Good.

Snallygaster 2022. Poured a clear dark yellow color without much of a head to speak of. Aroma was light funky notes. Grape skins. Flavor was pleasant tartness, woody grape. Pretty nice stuff.

Bottle pour at CW Family & Friends, Session 1 @Manchester Central, 21/02/20. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white head. Nose is tarte citric flesh, funk, yeast esters, herb, barnyard tones. Taste comprises sharp apricot, melon, grass, damp hay, oak, mellow yeast load, light white peppery spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Pleasant refresher.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours lightly hazy bright orange with a dissipating white head. The aroma is musty, stanky, apricot, peach, funk, vinous, white wine, vanilla, hay, cracker, barnyard, armpit and floral accents. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, tangy, vinous, white grape, gooseberry, lemon sherbet, apricot, peach, white wine, funk, barnyard, minerality, sherbet, lactic and decent hit of acidity. Medium body and fine carbonation..very approachable, sour and vinous.
