Heritage Porter originally brewed in 1889 by Mew Langton Brewing Co on the Isle Of Wight.
First brewed by us as a collaboration with Rising Tide Brewing Co, Portland, Maine, USA in November 2018.
Here we re-brew it with Heritage Chevalier barley malt, brown malt, demerara sugar, and the finest English Goldings.
To be enjoyed & shared with only the best of friends. Cheers!

Can from Rad Beer. Sampled June 2020. Pours unclear deep brown with creamy beige foam. Aroma: Earthy roast malts, toasted bread, chocolate, charcoal, dark fruits. Taste: light to moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation. Rustic, old school, delicious.

Can sample at a tasting at Dima's place. Clear dark brown. Malt, some funk, dark fruits, a bit of red fruits, caramel, earth, sweetish and a bit sourish, some roast, bitterish touch in the finish. Decent.

Can from Beer Guerrilla. Pours deep dark brown with a thick tan head. Aromas of coffee and dark chocolate, tar and something woody. Taste is heavy on the chocolate, light roasty finish. Very easy drinking.

Can. Black body with a beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and brown sugar. Flavour of rust and raisin. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A hefty Porter. Enjoyed this.

Wood Cask version of this collaboration brew at the Manchester Beer Festival 2020. Black-brown with fuller-bodied and slightly washy roasted malts, although not unexpectedly so. Some alcohol is evident through its barrel-ageing. Has a better roasted aroma than taste.

Black with no head. Aroma and flavour have intense roasted malts. Very bitter. Lots of espresso.
