A dark, strong best bitter. It mixes a complex malty flavour with a blackcurrant aroma, leaving a subtle sweet nutty aftertaste.

On gravity at Gloucester beer festival, 23/3/2013. Medium brown with a slight, off-white head. A malty bitter, with some hedgerow fruits, a sprinkling of chocolate powder and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Caramel coloured, and more of an old ale than its best bitter tag. Has a slight sweetness in aroma and taste.
