[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A golden amber pour with a dense cream head; malty aroma; smooth malty taste; then a light woody bitterness and some caramel to finish. A traditional malty bitter- rather out of fashion nowadays.

Cask at the picture house. Pours clear golden, nose is floral, caramel, biscuity, taste is similar.

Cask-conditioned at the Crystal Palace (JDW), Glasgow 3 October 2018. Golden in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Light floral hop character, a touch of fruit and biscuity malt, moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Pours a clear light amber colour with a small off white head. A light floral and malt aroma. A similar taste, light grainy malt with a mildly astringent hop bitterness.

Sample on tap at the Three Scott's, JDW. Medium creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Light bitterness.

Cask @ Paramount, Manchester. Golden-amber with a smooth head. Has a mild floral-stewed fruitiness, but more of the fruit than the floral. Has a smooth drinking texture.
