Porte Dorée gets its red/amber hue from a blend of five malts. Flavors of bread, caramel and a subtle roast note blend with spicy and citrusy hops to create a full flavored and well balanced beer. Its name is a nod to San Francisco and to its red bridge we know so well.

Bottle: Poured an amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with some light unrefined grainy notes. Taste is also a mix of unrefined grainy notes with some caramelized malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Average amber ale with OK drinkability.

Bottle. Color: Bit hazy reddish amber, off-white head. Aroma: Citrus hop, malt. Taste: Malty, notes of bread and caramel, combined with a decent amount of citrus hop. Moderate sweet, over moderate bitterness. Nice medium to even over medium bitter, quite dry, hoppy finish. Quite smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Very nice.
