Bleuet du Fermier is our delicate and aromatic Saison du Fermier aged with blueberries in French Oak wine barrels. The brightness, depth, and rustic character are created by the wild yeast native to our family's Missouri farm. This Blueberry Saison was fermented in and aged in wine barrels for several months.

Shared by Bart. He has hyped this up for a while now. Very curious ! Pours unclear reddish amber. Small white ring of foam. Smell is fruity, intense, candy-like sweet fruityness, but not sugary. very nice indeed. Taste is very balanced, intense sour (vinegar) , very intense on the fruitfleshy side. very nice indeed, yet perhaps a bit unbalanced on the vinegar sour-side

Bottle thanks to Ronny/Jacob/Andre@Koelschip, Copenhagen (14/10/2017) - dark red coloured pour with a white pinkish head. Rich sour berry fruity with bold blueberry prominence, berry skin, jammy fruit, wood, tart fruity into the close.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks PDXAmbassador for this bottle! Lovely purple color with a pinkish head. Amazing aroma full of blueberries, some strawberries, oak, funk, wine, light marzipan hint, spicy note. Sour flavor, lactic, puckering, acidic, with lots of juicy berries, light sweetish note, vinous notes. Medium-bodied, rounded. Wonderful stuff.

Bottle - Intense buetiful berry notes, i get raspberry and blueberry. Purple red with a decent white head. Big Berry notes, bit of acid and a long finish. Very nice.

Bottle shared by Cory. Pours a cloudy purple with small off white and pinkish head that lasts. The aroma is strong berry, funk, oak. Thin mouth, nice berry, oak, light funk, nice tartness, really enjoyed this.
