Smooth is our Missouri Wild Ale that was fermented in and aged in a French Oak foedre with Missouri microflora for 2 years. Once mature, it was racked on to Missouri Nectarines from the same farm in which we get White Peaches for Fuzzy.

375mL bottle drunk 4/8/25.
Lightly-to-moderately hazy despite sitting in the fridge cold for a long while. Dense, creamy, off-white head, moderate retention.
Nutty oak tannin, low butteriness, with mildly fruity brett and a very well-expressed, authentic Nectarine quality that isn't overdone with acid. Nor does it seem too lactic. No acetic noted. Quite aromatic.
Juicy and sour up front with somewhat cringey acidity, though it's heavy lactic and heavy fruit acidity, at least, not bacterial-derived acetic. Very flavorful with well-done fruit character, not too much oak and a malty body with high attenuation. Is it a bit too sour? Yeah, almost certainly. But everything else here is very well-done.

Cellar draught, 3/28/23. Blend #2. Mostly clear canteloupe-nectarine. White head at spotty cover. Wow, good God that is fruit. That's about as good as it gets for nectarines. Juicy, rich but not heavily acidic. Skin, fuzz, pit. Insane. Hmm not as good in mouth. Some light butyric acid, doughy yeast and fizzy acidity. Good and dry, leathery. Juicy, tart. Stiff.

Draft. A- Peaches, gummies, mild oak. A- Orange color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Peaches, nectarines, apricots, candy, slightly sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Blend #2. This had so much stone fruit like peaches and apricots, I felt like I was drinking a bag of Peach Ring gummies. A little sweet but so balanced and flavorful. Really really tasty.

Blend #2 Small rim over cloudy peachjuice-coloured beer. Pure peach, with a faint lactic acid/yoghurt background, and some malts. Quite sour, but not exaggerated. Nice, mild fruitacids. The peaches are again obvious. Fruit-filled, slick, not very carbonated, tangy and tart. Nice! Real American sour but for once, restrained. I want more of this.

Bottle split at L6, team effort, 22/08/19. Hazed orange golden with a moderately presented off white cap. Nose is peach, apricot, funk, vinous trace, grass, damp straw. Taste comprises citric zest, stoned fruits, wood must, acidic bite, grains, funk. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light brett scraping. Decent well balanced sour but far from blow me away material!
