Pomona Island Effanineffable IPA is made with a combo of Nelson Sauvin and Motueka hops. But the hops don't stop there, because it also enjoys a double dry hopping of Kazbek hops!

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet (probably Nettbutikken). ABV is 6.5%. Cloudy yellow colour, opaque from the late pour. Moderate white head. Aroma of citric, herbal and spicy hops, also hints of tropical fruits. Citrus and tropical fruits in the moderately sweet flavour too, while the finish has pine needles and resin, with some bitterness. Full and rich mouthfeel.

440ml can from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikk. Stable chalk white head, opaque golden body. Spotty lacing on the glassware. Promising aromas of peaches and mango. Rather succulent fruity taste of mandarin, mango, and juicy oats, weak malty sweetness beneath. Satisfying, rounded fruity bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Like it. (Tromsø 08.10.2021).

Draught Towering, dense off-white head over fully muddy yellow beer with Grünstich. Fresh greenery, young leaves, citrus, very faint hint at mint/lemonbalm. Lemonpeel, asafoetida, bit soapy (also in feel), old citruspeel. Some hoppy bitterness stronger in the finish. Protein filled, slick; low carbonation. Decent.

Can from Cloudwater online shop. Murky yellow body with a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of pineapple and peanut shell. Flavour of juicy apricot and mandarin with a tingly, hoppy finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Bright and juicy, really good.

Can. Very hazy yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, good fine minerally crisp bite. Thin malts, reasonably sweet. Crisp piney hops. Modest floral citrus. Little crisp citrus peel. Crisp finish. Don't get any of the hop character from the Nelson, Motueka or Kazbek. But a tidy IPA nonetheless.
