Vintage 2019. Zakupiona na początku 2020r za 60zl w Rodzince Bis i wyslana tez niemcowi ktory ocenil na 8,4. Pamiatka po piwie to etykieta na moich drzwiach przyklejona. Co do wygladu jest czarne geste oleiste, z bardzo ciemno brazowa piana, niestety niewielka i opada szybko niczym moje zaufanie do ludzi. Alkohol wyczuwalny i nieco denerwujacy. Mocno nuty czekoladowe, capucino i sporo wanilii. Rozgrzewajace i przyprawowo korzenne na koniec.

Keine Karbonisierung. Cremig malziger Beginn, viel Bourbon, Schokolade, mild alkoholisch. Zunehmend bitter, dabei cremig bleibend, erstaunlich süffig, viel Holz. Überlanger, leicht klebrig schokoladiger Nachgeschmack, ledrig. 8/13/13/14/12/14

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 1. Jet black color, medium ized light to medium brown colroed head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma and flavor are malts, quite some vanilla which make it fairly sweet, although there is some malt / roasted malt bitterness in the background. Hmm not as good as I had hoped based on the hype. But then again, that is why it is called a hype isn't it? Alright but too sweet for me I'd say, too much vanila.

27/12/2019 - draught glass @Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Black, big brown head. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, fruits, vanilla, booze. Taste is dark malts, chocolate, dark fruits, vanilla, barrel, booze, creamy, soft roast ending. Wow. Brilliant!

Sampled at Borefts 2019, Friday. A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of dry dark caramelized malt, grains, some chocolate. Taste of sweet strong caramelized malt, liquorice, Red fruits, red malt.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: spicy, soft roast, dry, bit oxidized, vanilla, alcohol, some bourbon? (apparently it was the bourbon version) MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: nice roast, alcohol, sweet and sugary, vanilla, nice stuff! Aftertaste: alcohol, bit hoppy, dry, bourbon, vanilla, very nice, lots of dark chocolate, alcohol burn.

Another excellent bourbon barrel aged imperial stout. Heavy, bit of roasty coffee, smooth chocolate. Quite a lot of barrel, lots of bourbon, boozy. Maybe a bit too much barrel, and not enough beer. Could be thicker. Tasty though.

Keg at borefts. Pours black, nose is chocolate cake, vanilla, caramel, taste is similar, sweet. 4
