2020 vintage Some bubbles on the glass and on veiled golden beer. Vegetable nose, some exotic herb, semidried citrus. Acidity and something vegetable/fruity rotting. Puckeringly sour, acidburn. This is truly awful, went totally wrong, does the name 'lambic' shame. Txs to Stef for bringing!

Mar2025, smells delicious, like tons of fresh peaches, but the flavor matches the average rating a bit. Vinegar and acidic tartness is all over, my tummy hurts. Also the nose disappears quick, either that or the acid has dissolved my senses.

Very kawai label but the Japanse broccoli odeur is not very much to hachelen. Farty veggie notes, bitter raw beans, citric sour, some warm canned peach notes but overal over medium sour with weird vegetable funk.

Bottle shared. Slight hazy golden with no head. Light veggies, earthy, dank funk, wheat, some oak as well. Not much fruit, it has some 'green' aroma like unripe fruit or wet leaves. Medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with almost no carbonation. Dry oaky finish. Decent flat lambic, just smells a little weird. I expected more from Owa though as most of their beers are way more interesting.

Poured from a 2019 vintage, 375 ml bottle. Aroma is fruit forward with nice plum notes and hints of citrus. Medium light floral notes and hints of earthy, herbal funk. Faint oak notes with light wheat and grain. Pours a hazy, bright, yellow-orange with a small, thin, white head that recedes to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is fairly acidic with medium light sweetness and light wheat and grain notes. Light oak notes with hints of herbal, earthy phenolics. Moderate plum notes and a light mousey note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent lambic but I don't love the mousey, cereal note in the flavor. It might get better with age, but right now the fruit note is a bit off.

Pours unclear yellow to amber, no sign of any carbonation at all. Scent is intense, sharp, acetic, tart, oak, fruity backbone (tart fruits ) nothing hints of sweetness, or a complex, refined lambic, for that matter. Taste is very tart, acetic, sharp, lemontartness (intense! ) very earthy. Fruityness is mild, since the sourness takes over completely. Earthy, acetic, lemontart finish. No carbonation. Honestly, this isn't lambic. I dont care who brewed it, or what ingredients and processes were used. Lambic is about balance and complexity, refined flavors and drinkability. This is drinkin' acid, resembling closer to an ' American 'lambic inspired' failure. This is Upland 'lambic' all over again, which is a shame, since i've had a much better impression from Owa before.

Bottle. Unclear greenish-golden color with no head. Aroma is funked up, horsestable, aggressive parmiggiano. Taste is barn, some peach. Oily mouthfeel, flat.

Ciekawostka, bo octowo (fuj) w aromacie a w uscie o wiele spokojniej, mocno owocowo / brzoskwiniowo. Lacto. Smakuje jak octowy berliner z brzoskwinia ;)
