Gravity cask at Pig’s Ear 2024 - Hackney. Pours deep brown with a bubbly, tan head. Light sweet flavour with very well toasted malts, a little ash and rubber and earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with notes of ash, cocoa and earth. Not bad.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Black body with ruby highlights and a beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of cherry, liquorice and earth. Flavour of sweet cherry cola and bitter blackcurrant. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. This is delicious. I wish Milds were more readily available.
