Handpull cask at the Garrison, Mansfield. It's mid- to dark brown with a hint of red, slightly translucent with a creamy beige head. Light malty nose with hints of forest floor. Taste is malt-led, mostly sweet with the taste of red grape in the finish. Smooth body, very soft carbonation. A passable beer in a very hard style to pull off.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, York. Dark copper-amber with a thick head. Has a robust maltiness that’s quite appealing, possibly due to its smoothish texture.

On cask in Stocksbridge PS FC club house - A rich clear deep red body, lacing white head. Nose is caramel and malts, with a robust cake fruit smell to it. Taste is well rounded with toffee, caramel and forest fruits at the end. A nice surprise in a football ground!

Cask@Market Porter
Dark nut brown color, creamy off-white head, lace. Very light nose with caramel, balsamico and malts. Medium-bodied. Flavor has some licorice, hops and maltyness. Slightly sweet. Kind of oddball, but I liked it.
