We mark the start of Spring with White Tips, our expression of a wit beer combined with IPA levels of hops. A traditional Belgian yeast works in harmony with orange, grapefruit and lime zest, plus a healthy hop dosing, to create a balanced Session IPA that is sure to pull you in wave after wave.

440ml can. Poured a hazy golden straw colour with a short-lived frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, mineral, light citrus. The flavour is light bitter and sweet, with a light, watery, yeasty, light dry pepper spice, floral hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Not the best beer I’ve had from Siren. --- Beer merged from original tick of White Tips on 07 Mar 2015 at 13:59 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, grassy, pine needle hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big yeast, citrus, grass hop, light pepper spice, light toothpaste bitter palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation.

Ruikt goed naar hop en marijuana achtig. Smaak ook prima, wel een beetje dun.

Bottle from Piccadilly Tap. Nice citrusy aroma, lemon and a bit of biscuit. Taste is good, citrus again, quite high hoppiness, grassy, quite dry. More malty later on. Maybe it's not as fresh as it could be, but I like it.

330 ml bottle, probably from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 4.5%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Lovely aroma of citrus peel and citrussy hops, also notes of tropical fruits. Soft mouthfeel. Very nice and refreshing citrussy and wheaty flavour, again tropical fruits, hints of coriander, moderate bitterness. Will buy again.

Just white frothy head left a collar on an unclear light golden, slowly carbonating body. Zesty aroma with hops, herbs & citrus. Medium to thin bodied, tingly on the palate & a clean back. Bitter citrus, pith, yeast & herb tastes with long tangy bitter finish
