Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Lightly hazy golden, fizzy head. Aroma of apple juice and funky brandy. Sweet with medium to full body and rounded, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Apple brandy followed by a foul flavour of rotting cheese and butter dumped in a garbage can left in the sun. No bitterness.

Can found in Scotland, says 7.5% on the label. Pours a deeper clear gold with fast gone foam and minimal carbonation. Aroma of red wine barrel, vanilla. Taste is a nice meld of apple and red wine, ending smooth. Alcohol well hidden. Not a bad meld at all.

500ml can @ 8% Eye - clear dark gold, brief white head, slow moving carbonation. Aroma - a decent bitter-sweet fruity apple. Taste - semi-sweet, quite dry and slightly bitter apples. The finish has a strange twang of McVities crackers with a hint of booze and then an apple tart note. Palate - light and somewhat dry. Overall - its ok. For me this is not in the same bracket as the cheap white ciders.

500ml can, 8.0% from local shop. Golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of tangy apple, sweeteners. Taste is apple fruit flavouring, sugar sweetness, astringent with tongue numbing booziness and some cardboard & peppery notes. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi-dry cloying finish. Not the best.

Golden color, white head that quickly dissapears. Aroma and flavor has a good presence of alcohol. No apple notes...
